AKA were tasked with providing a flexible, creative advertising solution for Tower Bridge that would stand out across multimedia platforms. To increase broad awareness and ticket sales, we had to challenge existing perceptions and communicate this iconic structure as being more than a thoroughfare to other destinations: It is a place of rich history, with educational opportunities, exhibitions and enviable views of the capital.
A collaborative process with Tower Bridge and Pentagram evolved our final creative to a bold, graphic solution that reinforces the sense of history and authenticity, underpinning Pentagram’s brand work.
AKA’s concept uses the recognisable Tower Bridge silhouette to house tailored imagery and copy that reflects specific marketing campaigns, directing attention to the detail within. This flexible key art metaphorically draws back the curtain, helping to celebrate the landmark’s inspiring story and unpack it’s full offering.
