We’re delighted to be working with IWM North part of the Imperial War Museums, on their major new exhibition Saving Lives: Frontline Medicine in a Century of Conflict, which runs from 13th October 2012 – 15th September 2013.
This special exhibition explores the powerful human desire to preserve life in the face of the war and its destruction; examining the personal experiences of those caught in harm’s way while honouring the bravery, resilience, commitment and determination of those who put their own lives on the line to save others.
Our media campaign brought this key message home, most prominently with adult visitors from across the North of England on key dates such as Remembrance Day and school holiday periods.
To maximise budget, we secured a mixture of long term and high impact sites at Manchester Piccadilly station along with roadside formats throughout the city centre, ensuring the campaign has prominent and regular presence across Manchester.
In addition, we worked alongside ambient media specialists Green Street Media to plan and buy stunning eco paint pavement stencils around The Quays and Media-City UK – a media first within this developing area which is now home to the BBC and a growing number of media and marketing professionals. The stencils incorporate directional signage to the museum, encouraging footfall from Media-City UK and The Quays across to IWM North.
Having worked with IWM North since 2004, we’re particularly delighted to have been recently re-appointed as their media agency until 2015.
