The Partnerships team has been working with new film client Pathe on the British comedy Pride (set in London and Wales) which opens in cinemas nationwide on the 12th of September. To promote the film the team secured partnerships with Dr. Martens, Barclaycard, Visit Wales, Ty Nant Sparkling Spring Water and Divine Chocolate.

The national partnership with Dr Martens was centred on a competition to win tickets to the film’s premiere and was promoted by the retailer across a number of channels including co-branded collateral across their UK stores, A6 inserts into online orders, a paid for Facebook advertising campaign, Dr Martens high-traffic website and through an email to their UK database. Additionally, the team negotiated for the Welsh Premiere of the film, to be presented by Dr Martens at the popular Festival Number 6 in Wales.  Visit Wales then ran an online feature offering tickets to Dr Martens Welsh premiere, publicised through their online channels to 500k followers.

To support the film’s preview screenings and London and Welsh premieres the team brought on board Ty Nant Welsh Spring Water and Divine Chocolate who gave complimentary mineral water and chocolate to premiere guests. Divine maximised the association by hosting an online film premiere competition alongside film artwork and the movie trailer.

The team also worked with Barclaycard to run a competition as part of their customer rewards program, promoted online and via an email to 250K, the  competition offered a 5 star prize of premiere tickets and a stay in a suite at Rosewood London, with prize value of £2,500.
