At a recent meeting with the AKA Teacher Focus Group, the Education team in Marketing were told that once school exams are finished in May, teachers have a lot more free time to start planning trips for the year ahead.

After matching this insight with data analysis showing that many school trips are reserved either before the Summer or at the start of September, we created a new HotTicketsforSchools.com annual classroom Wall Planner, which was designed to promote our key schools clients ahead of the ‘Back-to-School Rush’.

The wall planner format was chosen so that teachers can display it in their classrooms/staffrooms throughout the year, giving great exposure to participating clients. The Wall Planner featured bespoke education copy, schools rates and booking details for each client, as well as highlighting key client dates on the calendar such as Billy Elliot’s 10th Birthday and the Curious Incident UK Tour.  The wallplanner was sent to a carefully chosen data pool of school in London and the South East, plus Heads of Drama at schools with specialist Arts status throughout the UK. And it looks marvellous!
