The incomparable Sam Wanamaker Playhouse has now officially opened and, as the media agency for Shakespeare’s Globe, we were really excited to develop and implement the campaign to launch it.

Our integrated media campaign included out of home, print and online advertising to support the venue’s first production, The Duchess of Malfi starring the luminous Gemma Arterton, a play that’s given even more impact and intensity thanks to its intimate, candle-lit setting.

Our marketing support sought to spread awareness of this new theatrical space and really build anticipation for the kind of breathtaking drama that is sure to be the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse’s trademark.
