AKA, CP and DMS have collectively been appointed to run our first ever joint, full service advertising and creative campaign for a film.

The inter-agency campaign has been developed for independent producer Wild Card Films and their movie Blackwood which is in cinemas on Friday 1st August.

To promote the film amongst a young, urbane male audience, we ran a competition to win tickets to an exclusive preview screening of the movie, featuring a Q&A with director Adam Wimpenny and writer J.S. Hill at Firmdale’s brand new, luxury Ham Yard Hotel in Soho.

The competition ran on the Mr Hyde e-newsletter and was also hosted on the Shortlist Magazine website. To further promote the event, Firmdale Hotels sent a solus e-newsletter to their database of 15,000 film club subscribers and ran a featured on their film club page via a bespoke Blackwood page with links to the website and embedded trailer. The competition received over 1,000 entries and has reached an estimated 77,000 people.
