Over the past six months we have been working with McDonald’s to reward the 70,000 committed volunteers, named McDonald’s Olympic Games Makers, that the company is sponsoring and training, as well as their workforce.
The aka-created McDonald’s Games Makers website has just gone live. Through this, and a new and exclusive reward and recognition scheme, McDonald’s Olympic Games Makers will have the opportunity to buy theatre tickets to top quality productions for £20.12. We have also created a similar website for McDonald’s employees who will also be able to take advantage of this amazing value offer over the course of the Games.
As London experiences a particularly busy summer, we’re really excited to be able to help showcase the rich, world-class cultural offering available in the capital, as well as giving something back to the people who will be instrumental in ensuring that this is a Games to remember.
This partnership with McDonald’s also marks the first multi-show promotion that we have developed using Ingresso’s Ticketswitch technology, meaning that tickets can be drawn directly from a show’s box office rather than via a third party ticket agency. This has the benefit of being more cost-effective for our producers and more efficient for the box offices.
