Jersey Boys has been a staple in the West End for four years and still continues to pack in audiences. With our recent digital campaign, we drew on various themes from the show to evolve our core creative into something that would offer a richer user experience and increase engagement.

To do this, we developed an innovative Jersey Casino banner, an interactive “slot machine” which gave audiences the chance to “win” opportunities to engage with the show; whether answering a trivia question, watching a video or going through to the website to buy tickets. This interactive banner was the focus of our takeover of the Visit London website, the most visited online destination for domestic and international tourists. Not only did this give this prime audience a taste of the Jersey Boys and its timeless music but it also introduced them to world of the show, all at the pivotal time when they are deciding what to see in the capital.

The results were impressive. 78% of users who interacted with the banner clicked through to the show’s website, whilst the campaign also achieved higher click through rates and interaction rates compared to standard banner advertising campaigns.

Have a look at the below video to see the campaign in action and also our picture gallery for more detail on the banner advert creative.
