We are really excited to have secured a partnership between the landmark retailer Liberty and the UK’s leading contemporary art gallery Tate Modern, to celebrate this summer’s blockbuster exhibition Henri Matisse: The Cut-Outs.

The collaboration sees Liberty using Matisse’s later work as inspiration for their coveted store front windows, drawing on the artist’s distinctive use of colour and shape to create bold designs that will catch the attention of summertime shoppers and tourists. Liberty approached paper artists and stylists, Studio Boo, about working on a concept that reflects Matisse’s cut-outs, using their signature style of layering and texture building with paper. The final window scheme celebrates Tate Modern’s major summer exhibition by capturing the general spirit and aesthetic of Matisse’s work.

Have a look at the gorgeous final result below.
