In a first for any AKA show, our Box Office and Ticketing team have been working in partnership with the team at Amazon Tickets to run a 10 day pre-sale for the Spring 2016 Disney On Ice tour.

Taking advantage of the wealth of data Amazon can use to target customers, we secured prominent positioning for Disney On Ice in the top and subject line of each regional e-newsletter, along with digital banners on the Amazon.co.uk homepage and ticket site. Amazon also built a dedicated landing page for the online ads to link through to, and the campaign was further supported by social media activity.

The cherry on the top of this high-profile partnership was securing the lead spot on the Amazon.co.uk Disney homepage, a highly contested position in the run-up to Christmas, and the ideal place to promote the tour. This strategic partnership proved a huge success.
