Digital Strategy Director

The Role

We’re looking for a talented Digital Strategy Director to join our dynamic media team for a 12 month fixed term contract.

The successful candidate will be be expected to:

  • Contribute at a senior level to the digital media strategy (paid media) for AKA and its clients
  • Direct the strategy and delivery of digital media campaigns for key accounts
  • Set and oversee best practise is all digital media campaigns
  • Lead the internal process for digital media planning, buying and reporting
  • Manage and develop members of the digital media team
  • Manage the workflow of the digital team
  • Contribute to digital strategy and delivery of pitches across the agency
  • Represent and present digital media elements where appropriate
  • Liaising with 3rd party providers to resolve any issues as they arise
  • Maintain awareness of upcoming digital trends and educate the wider team
  • Keep ahead of the curve where brand safety and ITP are concerned
  • Manage and maximise digital margins
  • A forward-thinking mindset when it comes to ad tech and programmatic services
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Essential Skills

  • 5+ years’ agency and / or media owner experience
  • Client-facing experience running relationship and leading strategy meetings
  • Experienced in line managing team members and leading a team
  • Experience running Search and Social accounts
