Biddable Manager

AKA is one of the world’s most successful entertainment marketing agencies with offices in three continents across the world. We are a full-service advertising and marketing agency for theatre, live entertainment, film, music, museums, galleries, events and attractions, working with some of the country’s leading organisations.

We are looking to recruit a Biddable Manager to join our dynamic Digital team in our head office, in the heart of London’s West End. Due to Covid 19, initially this role will be working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

  • As directed by Digital Director, work with Paid Social and Search specialists to manage agreed account patch, subscribing to agreed agency processes
  • Responding to briefs, contributing to campaign proposals, set up, optimisation, reporting and billing on these accounts
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally
  • Provide cover where necessary on other accounts
  • Continuing to learn and develop – certifications, exams and training with view to improving AKA and personal accreditation
  • Assisting with training and development, of new and existing team members, on team processes including set up, build, optimisation, reporting and billing
  • Contributing to new business documents where required
  • Continuous reporting of innovation within platforms to benefit agency and clients – seeding information through the team re operational updates and scope for trialling new products
  • Use internal resource to further own knowledge and understanding of all areas of digital media to encourage integrated planning within the Media Teams
  • Commit to expanding knowledge of our clients businesses and sectors
  • Act as a positive, professional ambassador for biddable media, overall Media Teams and the agency both internally and externally
  • Maintain desired margin on individual accounts through full understanding of contractual requirements and timely billing; management of billing processes, invoicing, draft queries and budget lines

Experience Required – Person Specification


  • 3+ years’ agency /in house experience working in PPC and Paid Social platforms
  • Ability to manage and activate search & social accounts for multiple clients at a given time
  • Client-facing experience including being main point of contact for biddable queries
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal including presenting campaigns and reporting insights to clients and colleagues
  • Technical knowledge including pixel tracking and tag management
  • Excellent commercial awareness, maths skills, and numeracy
  • Microsoft Office – particularly Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint
  • Positive attitude and curious nature


  • Google grant experience
  • Google accreditations up to date including Shopping
  • Use of reporting tools such as Tableau and Improvado
  • Experienced in line managing/training team members
  • An interest in arts/culture/heritage sector and clear ability to talk about them in an intelligent way
