The curious case of the creative

Given its stellar reviews and huge popularity, the transfer of the National Theatre’s sell-out production of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time  to the West End’s Apollo Theatre is perhaps not a huge surprise. In fact, the show set a new record with its NT Live broadcast to worldwide cinemas, being seen by over 40,000 people in the UK alone!

Based on the top-selling novel by Mark Haddon, the play tells the story of Christopher, a remarkable fifteen year-old, as he attempts to find the culprit responsible for the untimely death of neighbourhood dog Wellington.

The concept creative that we developed to support The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time and its move into Theatreland reflects some of the key themes from the production, hinting the remarkable way in which Christopher interacts with the world, as well as the balance between order and chaos that’s central to the play.
