We are pleased to have recently worked with The Art Fund on a very successful campaign. The Art Fund Museum of the Year Prize celebrates museums and galleries across the UK – annually awarding one outstanding winner £100,000. This year they created a photography competition to run alongside the main award in order to raise public awareness of the prize. Over 1,800 entrants submitted photos of the museums, for the chance to win a photography holiday in Berlin, before a judging panel selected 6 photos, one for each shortlisted museum, for the public to vote on.
AKA created a bespoke voting page for the competition where people could vote for their favourite museum photo – the incentive to vote was a prize draw to win a photography weekend in Paris.
The comprehensive digital and social advertising ran across 3 phases of the campaign, from launch to winner announcement, and generated huge levels of engagement.
