Last Thursday saw the opening of our PAM’s pop up pub, organised by aka’s Promotions and Marketing department.

Ensconced within aka’s offices, PAM’s pop up pub helped raise money for aka’s Make a Difference charities. This year all of our charitable contributions are being split between the Nanyuki Preparatory School in Kenya and three elite athletes currently training for the 2012 Paralympics.

The pub was a huge success. In fact, it was quite possibly the best new bar to have opened in the West End for years – and certainly the cheapest! In one night’s taking, PAM’s pop up pub raised an impressive £347.07!

Cocktails were definitely the best seller, with the Cosmopolitan and Woo Woo topping the charts, while microwaved sausage rolls went down well, as did the karaoke, table football and skittles.

To top it all off, the winners of the PAM’s pop up pub quiz were announced. The lucky winners, Client Service Account Manager Hannah Crosby and Account Executive Anna Whitwood, won a fine bottle of bubbly to celebrate their success.
