We recently launched an impactful new social campaign for Matilda The Musical, the Changed My Story Award.

The campaign allows fans to nominate a special someone who has helped to ‘change their story’ by uploading a photo of them along with a few lines to say why they should win the award.  We’ve hosted this within an Offerpop app contained in Facebook which allows fans to complete their entry within the social site and share their entry once they have entered. Fans can also vote for their favourite entry which also creates a story on their Timeline, further promoting the campaign.

Within three days, the app has had 1260 unique visitors, 16 wonderful entries and 452 individuals have cast votes. The campaign runs until early December and the nominee with the most amount of votes will be presented with the official trophy on a special trip to see the show.
