The great British summer has arrived and as Londoners battle with soaring temperatures on tubes and trains across the city, there seems no better time to give the gift of a day dream!…

Dreamland Margate has re-branded and are redefining ‘a day out at the seaside’. AKA have worked with Dreamland for two years to help bring this wonderful attraction to London audiences, enticing them to ditch their laptops and run off for some fun in the sun!

We are bursting with delight about promoting this unique slice of British seaside heritage through an eye-catching mixed media campaign including digital, outdoor and press. We’ve brought the hot sticky underground to life with vibrant 6-sheets and LEPs, written a feature in Metro and had an issue take over of Timeout Magazine.

We particularly wanted to bring Dreamland to a younger, music savvy London audience, helping to put the venue firmly on the UK’s music map. Events in their 15,000 capacity events space this year include a diverse selection of music festivals and DJ sets, including the all new festival extravaganza ‘Demon Dayz’ curated by Damon Albarn and headlined by Gorillaz.

And for those who prefer the traditions of deckchairs, rides and gardens – well they’re still there in abundance, beautifully restored for young and old to enjoy!

The AKA team feel incredibly privileged to be part of the ongoing transformation of Margate’s thriving seafront into a world-class attraction.
