AKA have delivered an ideal partnership between The British Museum and Japanese fashion retailer Uniqlo, to celebrate the museum’s latest Manga exhibition.

With a shared affinity for both Japanese culture and the arts we recognised an undeniable synergy between these two brands. Through multiple initiatives this truly authentic partnership brought the exhibition’s key art to life, including in-store displays, an email and social campaign, co-branded postcards with a sales driver and an immersive in-store manga drawing workshop with a photo opportunity for manga enthusiasts. This partnership is featured across all Uniqlo stores in London for the duration of the exhibition.

This partnership illustrates the power of bringing together two brands to achieve business goals, build awareness and grow audiences for both organisations. And with storytelling at the core of the partnership, the retail environment has given it a brilliant place to thrive.
