We have recently produced the Donmar Warehouse’s new season brochure and magazine.  The season starts on the 23rd of September with The Shakespeare Trilogy opening in a new purpose built 420-seat space at King’s Cross, which will see Dame Harriet Walter performing the roles of Brutus, Henry IV and Prospero back to back. In a new initiative called ‘Young and Free’ a quarter of the tickets to the trilogy will be free to under 25s.

In the Donmar main house, Kwame Kwei-Armah returns to the UK to direct One Night in Miami by Kemp Powers. The play is based on the night of the 25th of February 1964, when Ali beat Sonny Liston to become World Heavyweight Champion. The play imagines a fictional meeting after the bout between Ali, Malcolm X, singer Sam Cooke and American Football player Jim Brown.

Following this, Gemma Arterton will take the title role in Bernard Joan’s Saint Joan which will be directed by Josie Rourke.
