This week the Donmar announced the new productions in its upcoming POWER SEASON at its Covent Garden home. Limehouse, a new play by Steve Waters about the formation of the Social Democratic Party opens the season in March, starring Paul Chahidi and Debra Gillet. Lenny Henry will make his Donmar debut in a new production of Brecht’s The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui in April, directed by Simon Evans. The season ends with a new musical inspired by the commons evidence about the high profile charity Kids Company. The Public Administration and Constitutional Affairs Committee Takes Oral Evidence on Whitehall’s Relationship with Kids Company opens in June and is directed by Adam Penford.
