Congratulations to The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time who triumphed at the Tony Awards on Sunday night.  The production received five awards, including Best Play, Lead Actor, Director, Scenic Design and Lighting Design.

Marianne Elliott, took away the prize for Best Director and said: “It was incredible to see the audience at the National Theatre, then for that to grow in to the West End. To have even the slightest idea that it would go to Broadway, let alone to win these awards is incredible.”

Alex Sharp (who plays Christopher Boone) won the award for Lead Actor on his Broadway debut.
