International Theatre productions include: Dirty Dancing (Toronto, Hamburg, Utrecht, USA tour); Sleeping Beauty (New York, Barbican, Young Vic), Henry IV Parts I & II (Washington Shakespeare Theatre, for which Tim received a Helen Hayes Award nomination); The Play What I Wrote (Broadway/West End); Noises Off (Broadway/West End/National) and Pajama Game (West End/Toronto). Other West End productions include Stephen Fry's new version of Cinderella at the Old Vic over Christmas and Bad Girls The Musical, Otherwise Engaged, As You Like It, Romeo and Juliet, Of Mice and Men, Sweet Panic as well as Big White Fog, The Lightning Play, Enemies, Blood Wedding, Whistling Psyche, Brighton Rock (Almeida); Hamlet (Japan/Sadlers Wells); A Lie of the Mind, Merrily We Roll Along (Donmar) and The Snowman (Sadler's Wells). He has worked extensively in regional theatres, most recently on Jonathan Miller's The Cherry Orchard (Sheffield Crucible), John Doyle's Merrily We Roll Along (Watermill) and Alice in Wonderland and Hapgood (West Yorkshire Playhouse and Birmingham Rep).
For the RSC he is lighting Hamlet, starring David Tennant, Love's Labours Lost and A Midsummer Night's Dream in their 2008 season and other productions with them include Henry IV Parts I and II for which he received an Olivier Award nomination, and Merry Wives the Musical, Coriolanus, Women Beware Women, A Midsummer Night's Dream, King Lear, Othello, A Comedy of Errors, The Taming of The Shrew, Antony and Cleopatra, Much Ado About Nothing, Macbeth, Measure for Measure and Richard III, most of which have also transferred to the West End, Japan or Washington.
Opera work includes productions for WNO, Icelandic Opera, Kammeroper Vienna, Berlin Philharmonic, London Symphony Orchestra, and Dance includes productions for the ROH Linbury Studio, Birmingham Royal Ballet, Mariinsky Theatre Russia and Northern Ballet Theatre's Hamlet touring the UK in 2008.
