Training:Chris trained at the Wells Cathedral School and at the age of eleven was awarded a music scholarship to King's College, Taunton.
Theatre: He spent five years appearing at concert and cabarets through out the UK and touring in West End Showstoppers and A Tribute To Elvis, as Elvis. In 1993 he understudied Chris in Miss Saigon (Theatre Royal, Drury Lane). In 1994 he headlined a series of concerts entitled West End Goes West (Winter Gardens, Weston Super-Mare) and was in Out Of The Blue (Shaftesbury Theatre, London). He played Elwood Blues in The Official Tribute To The Blues Brothers (UK and European Tours) and appeared in Showstoppers for the BBC with Gary Wilmot.
He was then on the road for two years playing the Pharaoh in Joseph And The Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat with Philip Schofield; Heathcliffe with Sir Cliff Richard and An Evening With Gary Wilmot. After this he played Vince Fontaine/Teen Angel in the UK tour of Grease.
In 2000 he returned to the West End in The Witches Of Eastwick (Theatre Royal, Drury Lane and the Prince of Wales). He then toured as the Snake Preacher in Whistle Down The Wind. Chris played Big Macca in We Will Rock You (Dominion Theatre) he also played the roles of Britney and Kashoggi. He has appeared all over the world in concerts most recently as Feuilly in Les Miserables, The American in Chess both with the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra and the role of Judas in Jesus Christ Superstar (Porchester Castle, Fareham).
Chris also sang at the BBC's Voice Of Musical Theatre Competition 2002 in Cardiff where he won his semi-final and was runner up in the Grand Final. Chris most recently returned to the Snake Preacher in Whistle Down The Wind (Palace Theatre), he also played The Man.
